Bathroom is Almost Done!

Happy Halloween :)

We are planning on moving in this weekend! It doesn't seem real!

We have decided to put off redoing the kitchen and will instead use the rest of our reno loan on the rest of the house.

Here a pictures of the beautiful tile and fixtures (I really like the faucet). You may notice that there are several elements in the bathroom that are done, and then become undone. I have decided that finishing is really hard! We agonized over decisions, and change our mind too much. At least we are moving in in a few days and will be able to enjoy our hard work.

I will post a play by play of the toilet installation later this week, so you have that to look forward to :)

It took me a second to realize that your photos were of YOUR HOME and not from a website. Really! It's looking fantastic.

I love that little hexagonal tile. LOVE it. Your remodel came out GREAT! It is very classy looking, and warm and inviting at the same time!

You guys have the cutest little clawfoot tub I've ever seen! It's adorable! I've never seen one that size. I must say, when I read the idea of a black and white bathroom I balked a little, but seeing your pictures, I'm convinced, it looks great!

Where did you find your tile. I have been searching for 3 months for the 1 inch hex tiles. Your bathroom is picture perfect

These are the tiles we used:

but we got them on special order from Lowes, it took about a week to come in. They come in sheets which made it easier to lay. I really love the way it looks. We also went with black grout, which looks nice and also doesn't really get dingy looking very easily :)

oh, and I'm pretty sure we paid less than the price on that site at Lowes.
